Benedict is a shepherd boy who is assigned to a flock of sheep just outside of Bethlehem. He wanders away from the flock as he wonders about the special night. Chloe, a little lamb from his flock wanders away as well. Worried, Benedict goes to look for her. Benedict and Chloe search for each other on Christmas Eve night. They encounter angels and stars and find each other in a stable in Bethlehem. Together, they rejoice at their reunion and at the birth of the baby Jesus.
BENEDICT AND THE LITTLE LOST LAMB is designed for a large cast to be performed in pageant style. It can, however, be performed with a small group in a small setting.
